We are a fresh expression of Church for the 21st century. Eternal Life Ministries unique Christian multi-media ministry with a role to play in fulfilling the great commission with an exclusive interactive format.
Through our media ministry we are believing God for a million members inside ten years and that Eternal Life Ministries will become the first global 21st century multi-media ministry.
The concept of the ministry is to use a variety of contemporary multimedia tools such as Eternal Radio, audio, video and Life Net our on-line meeting rooms including chat rooms that are an accepted part of everyday life together with a conventional church building The Old Chapel home to Hollymoor Community Church.
Jesus met the people He shared the gospel with at the well, in the market place, on the fishing vessel and in the temple in essence the places they frequented. Today people are found frequenting the internet, watching video (TV), listening to audio (Radio) and Church. Eternal Life Ministries will use these various forms of media to meet people where they are and share with them the gospel.
Established in March 2008 by Stephen and Valma Merrick, Eternal Radio changed its web presence to include multimedia social networking in early 2010 and now has over 850 signed-up free membership from across the UK and Ireland, with an ever increasing number from overseas including the USA, Canada, Ghana, Nigeria, South Africa, Australia, Korea, India, Pakistan and a number of middle east countries.
Our aim is to enable real people living, real lives to worship and have a personal relationship with the only only true God through Jesus Christ - Eternal Life!
We believe that many people have become disallusioned with religion but still want to develop a close and personal relationship with God. Further that God through His son Jesus Christ is longing to bring those very people into that close personal relationship with Him.
Hollymoor Community Church is active in our local Northfield Community as a member of Churches Together and also working alongside other agencies to positively impact life in our area. This is reflected through our Charity work as registered charity no 1141181, through our Life Line Food Bank and RadioActive programs.
Our vision is for the teaching of true Christian living as the basis for everyday life;
Calling the Body of Christ back to the basic foundation of the Church, mercy, kindness, compassion and truth
Encouraging Believers into coming to a close fellowship with the Father;
- And this life eternal that they might know thee the only true God and Jesus Christ who you have sent [John17;3]
Experiencing the Father as an infinite loving Being;
- For God loved the world so much that He gave His only begotten so that whoever who believes in Him shall not perish but will have eternal life [John 3:16]
